1. In a bowl, combine the ground lamb, lemon zest, shallot, garlic, and a healthy pinch of kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Form 6 patties of equal size. Set aside in the refrigerator to rest.
2. In a medium to large sauté pan, heat butter until foaming. Season the outside top and bottom of each lamb patty with salt and pepper and place into the pan. Brown the patties for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
3. Make the blackberry mash: pour blackberries in a small bowl, add salt and pepper, and smash with the back of a fork until chunky.
4. Finish the sliders by putting them on the crisped up rolls with the chevre and top each with the Summer Blackberry mash. Serve immediately! These can be garnished with fresh basil leaves.
