* 2 squares of flaky (puff) pastry
* 2 oz. Roquefort cheese
* 2 small pears (not too ripe)
* About 10 walnuts
* Preheat 350° F. Peel the pears and cut into thin slices. Arrange the slices on the pastry squares. Crumble the Roquefort over the pears and bake approximately 20 minutes.
* Take the tarts out of oven and sprinkle with walnut morsels. Use one walnut half for decoration.
* To finish...Served with an endive salad and a dash of walnut oil
