Roquefort – Making the “King of Cheese”
October 2010

Travel to Roquefort by watching our new video and See the origins of the famous French bleu cheese!

Roquefort Cheese has been made for Centuries and enjoyed by everyone from Kings to modern-day foodies. Like many fine cheeses, Roquefort is made with traditional methods that have changed little over time. It must be made within a 65-mile radius of the village Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. This mountainous region features caves that form the perfect environment to create this uniquely delicious bleu cheese. The region’s distinctive geographic features allow the cheese to develop the flavors and textures that people have been enjoying since the cheese was introduced – and Roquefort’s Designation of Origin ensures the cheese will always pack the same flavors and textures.
