Like last year, you will be able to travel across Europe in
a single day for free, thanks to a complimentary shuttle
service to all participating embassies departing from
Dupont Circle, Farragut North and Cleveland Park Metro
stations.
The Embassy of France will welcome you, your family
and friends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and feature children's
workshops, mini French lessons, and the opportunity to
sample French music and cuisine, among other events.
You will have the opportunity to meet members of each
department (diplomatic, commercial, cultural, scientific,
military, transportation, air and space technologies, etc.)
and for the first time the Chancellery, which will present
a 10-minute video, documenting the nature of the
diplomats' work and their perspectives on diplomatic
French-American relations.
Program of the EU Open House at the Embassy of France
will also include:
• French cheese from the finest producers
• French wine and soft drinks on the terrace
at Le Bistro (cash bar)
• Children's workshops (temporary tattoos and stickers)
Sit down to a full meal at the Embassy cafeteria. Lunch
will include an appetizer, main course with side dishes,
cheese and baguette, and a delicious dessert from our
own in-house pastry chef (wine by the glass or bottle
additional charge).
Enjoy a taste of France... right here in Washington DC!
We are looking forward to welcoming you!

The dinner-concert held by «Leaders for Compassion»,
on May 2, aimed at obtaining proceeds for the
international organization Heart's Home USA whose
mission is to restore Love and Dignity among the most
wounded and affirm the intrinsic value of every human
being at all levels of the society through various
initiatives in the corporate, political, scientific and artistic
spheres.
The event managed to achieve the difficult challenge to
gather executives, CEOs and EU officials (including the
French consul) and develop at the same time an
amazingly warm and friendly atmosphere, notably
through the performance of the talented clarinetist David
Krakauer. Thanks to the great contribution of ANCO Fine
Cheese- among other generous sponsors - the guests
enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by the Chef of the
French Consulate who had offered his services for this
exceptional occasion.
