2013 Summer Fondue Festival!

Everyone is serving the same old burgers this summer. Opt for something more unique and fun -make fondue on your grill and celebrate summer flavor!

Fondue may be associated with cold winter nights but it's deliciously fun at summer cookouts, too. Any outdoor grill can heat up with summer fondue fun. And it's easy to make the dish a seasonal delight - fresh fruits and grilled meats make fantastic fondue dippers. Dunked chunks of French bread, crackers and potatoes make it easy savor melted fromage all summer long!

Curious? Try it by making a super simple summer fondue appetizer. A wedge of our Brie wrapped in foil on a warm grill only takes a few minutes to soften into a perfect dipping consistency.

It's also easy to make grilled fondue part of an entrée. Our Sparkling Triple Crème Fondue Recipe uses creamy St. André cheese instead of hard cheese, and crisp rosé wine instead of white wine. This makes a lighter fondue that's perfect for the summer months – and tastes incredible with summer staples like strawberries, peaches and apricots.

For something heartier, our Steakhouse Fondue Recipe can't be topped. Emmental and Fol Epi make the perfect cheese mixture for grilled sirloin steak, roasted potatoes and broccoli. Serve it with a full-bodied Cabernet wine and prepare for an enchanting summer evening!

TIP: If there's any fondue leftover, just pour it into a storage container while still warm. When it cools, toss it in the refrigerator. Warm it up in the microwave the next day – it makes a fantastic topping for vegetables, beef or chicken.
